Wellside Cottage

Reviews

This is a fantastic cottage in a lovely village. We have been 3 times and love it. Its a great base for exploring Scotland but is also in a location close to beaches and countryside and fantastic for us and our dogs.

Wellside Cottage is a lovely residence, that is centrally located in Aberdour and is handily placed for excursions throughout Scotland. The countryside and places to visit make it an ideal base for exploring the area. The people are very friendly, and we look forward to booking again next year.

A great cottage in a fantastic location. Aberdour is a lovely village and the cottage is within 5 mins walk from two fantastic beaches and great walks. The people in Aberdour were so friendly and the cottage itself is very comfortable and warm, and great for the dogs. We will be returning!

Aberdour turned out to be full of surprises! Great beaches, walks, a castle, good shops etc - and the cottage was brilliantly placed for all of these along with the superb station which makes getting into Edinburgh or Glasgow etc so easy! The cottage was warm, cosy, attractive and had all the amenities you would need - and it caters for dog owners - perfect!

Excellent location for exploring Edinburgh and surrounding area. Nice quiet village looked like a lovely beach area, with good playground for kids, although all buried in snow when we were there!

The place where we stayed was ideal for travelling around Scotland. We managed to drive to Glasgow, Edinburgh and even managed to drive to a loch which was amazing.

The cottage and the helpfulness of the owner was great. Aberdour is a great place for a base as it has a train station for evenings in Edinburgh, and for trips when you don't want to take a car. My daughter lives in Aberdour and we were just using it for her wedding, however, if we need accommodation for any reason in the future, I would definitely book the cottage again.

The area is beautiful, the accommodation comfortable, and the people are very friendly. There are excellent places to eat in nearby villages, a great golf course in Aberdour itself, and if you like silver jewellery try 'The Green Witch' in Aberdour .

This is a very warm and cosy cottage in a fantastic location for discovering Fife and the Edinburgh area. Perfect for a small family as the local beaches are wonderful and nearby shopping very good.

An ideal location to see a hidden gem of Scotland - The Fife Coast. A very relaxing break and we will without doubt return in the future.

The owners were very friendly - as dog owners themselves they could appreciate the need to be able to holiday with the four legged members of our family.
